New Website

Lt S. Wheeler Jan 29th 2014

This is the new website, I wanted to know what you think? We won't be wasting money however as I firmly believe that this site supports existing URLs

This means we can keep our old site web address but have a new and more customisable site.

Ready For Action

Lt S. Wheeler Mar 9th 2014

Congratulations to Course 001/14 who completed the new phase 2 training programme this weekend. Excellent performance from all who attended.

Moving on with this news is our upcoming deployment to Sangin on OPERATION Relic. Please Remember to check the events page and look at the attendance form in the forums.

I have no doubt in my mind that you guys will be fantastic on Operations as you have been in the training exercise we have done in preparation.

A Change Of Leadership

Lt S. Wheeler Feb 3rd 2014

As some of you may have noticed the leadership of the unit has been re-arranged for a couple of reasons. In this news post I will explain.

LCpl. R. Flynn has been moved to the 2IC of 2 Section as this is where he feels most comfortable. Cpl. J. Major has assumed the command of 1 Section.

Secondly Cpl. K. Chief has given his role to Sgt. R. Reher for several reasons. These reasons are not going to be discussed here but you may ask Cpl Chief if you so wish.

Operation Relic is GO!

Lt S. Wheeler Mar 24th 2014

1RRF have deployed to Sangin District to help secure the area and help the local people.

With two missions already on the table, there has been heavy casualties sustained on both sides and an enemy primary commander captured.

Secondly I would like to say well done to Section Commander Corporal R. Flynn on his amazing skill, bravery and companionship on Operations. For this he has been awarded a Mention in Despatches.

Good luck to the lads for the rest of the deployment.
